Non Immigrant O (multi Entry)

Featured Replies

I am writing this on behalf of a friend who is currently in the UK and wants to get a Non Immigrant 'O' (multi entry) visa.

He is not married to a Thai, is under 50 and is not seeking work either. I presume Hull would be his best bet to get a 1 year visa.

Exactly what documents would he need to secure a 1 year Non Imm 'O' visa from Hull?

Any first hand experience is welcomed and will be passed onto him.

Thanx

JD

That would likely be his only option and believe Bank of England notes are accepted to visit friends.

For Hull and Non-O multiple entry visa to visit friends would need to send in passport, recent passport sized photo, completed application form (can download) and fee (complete form if paying by credit card). Suggest obtaining pre-paid special delivery envelope from Post Office (cost around £4) and enclosing with visa application documentation for return of passport/visa, or Hull will add on £8 for return postage.

This post explains it all. The guidelines are available on the Hull website too.

Takes about 2 days, but obviously allow more time.

Please make your friend aware that his 1 year starts from the day of Hull issuing it. Better to apply closer to when he's due to depart.

Sounds like he doesn't have internet, so you should download and print the forms on his behalf.
