Is it possible? she tells me she or someone has to goto her birth town to get it.. we can't really come back as we don't want to be stuck in thailand for 1-2 years before getting permanent resident visa

She Has to go to her home Town/City/Village, She has to take her ID card or Blue book.

My wife never had a birth certificate it was destroyed in a house fire we just covered it in a letter to the UK/BA.

I think she can authorize someone to get the birth certificate fom the amphur for her. She should contact the amphur about that.

If she sends a copy to my office we can scan translate if required.
