Bbc & Sky News Coverage In Uk

Some might be interested, both channels covering the latest developments today as its headline news around the world. Both channels have a reporter with the Thai police following the moves and ducking and diving! Reports are saying that over 20 buildings ablaze, and we have seen the smoke rising over the city, very sad pictures I must say. All the protesters have given up and surrendered and the leaders are now in custody. The curfew is so they can try and clean up the mess overnight with no distractions. They also add that anyone going through checkpoints should carry ID.

The report just shown on the beeb, went on to say that this started out as a peaceful protest........Ending like this is not really a good way to end it all.

One thing she did also add, is that there have been reports that reporters (in particular Thai reporters) are to be targeted for not putting across a fair and balanced view of the protest. If true.....and no evidence yet...... that would be a step up from the "peaceful protest scenerio"

Hey don't shoot the messenger peeps, just thought you might like an update from UK news prespective. Fingers crossed it all improves very soon. Take care.

Go the Al Jezzarah Channel....much more factual without the inane commentaries from the reporters and presenters in the studio on BBCrap
