Tv Posters Are Like Hungry Piranhas !

Recommended Posts

I have been reading TV now for many years and all I see is a bunch of unhappy farangs attacking every move that happens in this country. It’s no wonder the Thai’s always say that farangs think they know it all. It doesn’t matter weather it’s a pothole in the streets of Pattaya or a coup or a drunk farang arrested for fighting in a bar OR a Protest, all you people do is jump on TV and start fighting and name calling etc and think that only YOU have the answers.

Some of the comments I see from pro reds even saying things like “well I live in esarn with a bunch of un-educated poor peasants and I wouldn’t want them running the country”. So why do you live among these people? Is it that you feel at home with un-educated poor peasants?

On the other side the pro Abhisit farangs say things like “anyone who supports these terrorist stupid red shirts should be shot and pi**ed on etc” Where do you think the fruit and vegetables and rice you eat come from?

I think that the Thai’s are correct when they say they hate the farang because they think we know it all. Just look at TV for the past few years and what all you people do and say here. Like starving piranhas looking for ANY reason to jump in and fight.

One poster stated that this forum used to be a great place for info etc and I agree with him. But the more and more people that move here the crappier and crappier it gets I think? I’m sure I will be attacked for posting this and yet I will just sit back, have a cold one and laugh at what lives you must be leading.

Try not and let things get to you so much folks. You are not getting any younger and I THINK you all chose to live here for the Geographic and cultural beauty of the country = serenity. ?????????

I think that any of these post are more towards terrorism then anything I have seen in Thailand. You all talk about “how can Thais be so ruthless toward other Thai’s” but hey look at us here???????

Have you ever gone to a fish pond and thrown in a piece of bread? See what happens? Well that is what I am doing with this post into the pond of angry farang piranhas so…LET THE FEEDING BEGIN AND ATTACK ME !!!!!!!!

Attention seeking has various forms. The most common, from people who have little going for them, is to do it by way of confrontation.

Your last sentence pretty much sums that up.

Excuse me but I am a leading attorney at law and have been retained by the Piranha Association of South America. My clients would like to strongly register their objection to the association of their noble selves with such a motely crew of misfits as the members of this forum.

Please take this as a friendly warning, litigation will follow the next unprovoked attack on the peaceful fish of the Amazon.

Not every farrang is similar :D . But i think you'r right until a certain extent with this story. But that last sentence makes no sense, so that you can better Hide. Thai people are smart enough to solve their own problems, they dont need the Farrang :)

So and now i will I do the same as you and get a nice cold beer haha lol :D

What are you on about? We complain about pollution during smokey season and the heat during hot season and the rain during rainy season and too many tourists during high season, but we are happy as larks during the rest of the year.

Welcome to paradise! :)

I've been reading this guy's posts for the short time that he has been making them. He's suddenly "mister prolific poster" but a lot of his posts are basically telling everyone else how they should be acting or living. I guess he thinks we need his guidance. I don't need it.

He also claims that all he sees here are unhappy farangs attacking every move that happens in this country. There is a lot more to this forum than what he sees. That right there tells me that anything he posts really isn't anything to pay attention to in the future. Someone that can only see in this forum the things that he sees isn't anyone that can see clearly and therefore, he can't speak intelligently about it.

Now he makes this post inviting everyone to attack him. Mostly I see a cry for help or a cry for the mods to shut him off. I'm hoping for the latter. His post here isn't meant to do any more than inflame the readers. Hopefully, someone else will try to keep this forum a little more worthwhile and, not only close the thread, but close him also.

Mister high all mighty!!! You're the one with your hand in the fish tank stirring it up.

What's worse? Jumping into a fight or intentionally trying to start one.

Tell me. Just what has rattled your cage.

Is somebody getting restless indoors alone during the curfew. :)

Sorry! Piranha - is prior art and has been around everywhere for years. We defend our clients right to be as assuming and right when wrong as they care to be. Life would be dull if we all used the same cookie cutter.

Dude, This is an internet forum! I have partaken in various internet forums covering many topics. Football, music, politics, finance and a specialist one stained glass. Now trust me on this one - every forum has a large element of childish argument which can get quite heated and quite nasty. Thaivisa just happens to be about Thailand so naturally people will argue and complain about their lot here. In the real world it's usually a lot more civilized, unless there's an expat forum for Somalia. :)

Dude, as you good ole boys say, I was trying to insert a bit of humour which unfortunately zinged you.

I'm not an attourney, neither do I represent any piscean clients from south America but I felt that, like great whites (the sharks not obese farangs), piranhas do get a lot of bad press. :)

Correct I do not currently live in Thailand, not that that's a mandatory requirement for membership of ThaiVisa. Correct I did live there from 1992 - 2004 since when I have drifted around the region living where I work and returning to Thailand every R&R. My plans were to retire to Thailand but they were revised a couple of years back as, even then, Thailand was changing from the place I first knew and recent events have not caused a moment's rethink.

I joined TV in 2006 to keep abreast of the fluid situation regarding visas and just stick around to keep in touch, just in case I do change my mind, and offer advice and/or sarcasm where I think it's due.

So there you have it, a short potted history of the latter part of my life and no I'm not angry. :D

At the moment it's 09:00 and my lady has just made me my morning ga phe den, life just does not get much better.

If you ever come down this way PM me and we'll meet for a beers and maybe some good ole southern cooking in a nice little Texas bar/diner here in town. :D

PS I'm Brit not American but spent some time there in Noo Joisey.

There's the reasoning.....a Brit eating Texas BBQ in Jersey.... Now I completely understand...... :D

What? Those are the only two months where the temperatures are tolerable... (IMO, but hey I don't own a coat, hat, or gloves and wear shorts all year round....)
