Uk Visitor Visa Questions

Featured Replies

I'm going to apply for a UK visitor visa in the next month. I think I have most documents that are required. However, I've been reading many forums online that people are getting rejected mainly because of their reason for returning to Thailand.

I would like to know if anyone on here thinks that my reasons for returning to Thailand are good enough.

1. I have just graduated from Thammasat uni, so I'll need to come back to attend my commencement day.

2. I've also been studying at Ramkhamhaeng uni for 2 years and need to return to continue my studies and midterm tests.

Ramkhamhaeng uni is not really strict on attendance so I'm thinking that the embassy might look upon this as I'm not going to come back to attend the class.

Oh, another thing, I've read that if I apply for a single entry visa and get rejected, I'm not allowed to reapply for it again in the future, is this true?

Thanks in advance =)

You should be fine if you have a valid reason to return (nearly 90% of Visa applications are approved).

If you get "rejected" you can apply again and address the issues for the rejection.

Good luck :)

I would suggest obtaining a letter from Thammasat university confirming when and why you need to return and another from Ramkhamhaeng confirming your attendance.

Unless one is guilty of an offence such as attempting to obtain a visa by deception, there is no reason why one cannot apply again if refused. Though obviously you would need to satisfactorily deal with the reasons for the refusal.
