Jingthing
On the cursed site of the former World Trade Center (Thailand) which was changed to Central World for PR reasons after the attack on New York, there will surely be a new giant mall built on the ashes of the tragic events last week. Surely they can't name it the same thing again, not after what happened! So, just for fun, how about your suggestions for the NEW name for Central World -- My starting ideas: Montenegrorium Class Warfare World Kwai Daeng Plaza Red Square Protesters not Terrorists Shopping Paradise Jeff Savage Shoppingtown Edited May 24, 2010 by Jingthing

kaengk
Paragon East The Great Yellow Tower of Consumerism Honestly, do we really need a duplicate of Paragon less than 300 meters away? And there is already a complete Central at Chidlom another 300 meters east of Rajaprasong. Karma liberates us from our excesses, when we are free there is no need to go back into our prison. paddydubai
Slightly off topic and out of town, but I always chuckle at the Big C mall in Pattaya which seems to have recently re-named itself "Central Center". You can't get any more central than that! Oh, and in Dubai they've got this new attraction in the man made lake outside the world's tallest building. It features an amazing series of giant, synchronised fountains (actually worth seeing if you're ever passing through). They had a competition with a prize for naming the attraction. Guess what won? Yep. The Dubai Fountain.
