Does anyone know whats going on with Diesel fuel prices?

It jumped 60 satang after the giverment announced the 50 satang increase, then the next few days it jumped another 50 satang. now its up to 19.39 per lit.

I also understood that the PTT stations would not have the 50 satang increase yet they are at 18.99 per lit.

Any clues to whats going on?

The gov't figured out that it can't afford to continue subsidizing diesel fuel as much so they are lowering the subsidy and so the prices are going up. They say that eventually they want to end the subsidy....maybe over a six month period or so......but who knows what will actually happen...I don't.

That I know. the goverment lowered the subsidy by 50 satang but prices have jumped up way beyond that and therin lies my question, why did it go beyond that 50 satang decrease in subsidy?
