Can anybody living on KPG tell me whether or not CAT CDMA works there? I know it works on Samui and other places...

Does True 3G work there? This is also in Samui, at least in some areas...

yes they work , slow but works

i have the mifi wirelss cdma router, it works very well from chaloklam, better than some of the adsl accounts in the village.

can do 2mbps on an in country spped test, between 400 and 800kbps for international.

decent torrent speed (relative) of around 250kbps -- in bangkok i can do 700 (true adsl).

if you tell the guys at cat in samui where you will be using the device, they can tell you how close you will be to a mast.

Can anyone else respond to this and tell me exactly where on Koh Phangan they've used it and what kinds of speeds they are getting. I only see that one response from a while back which seems that it would work but I know there have been some issues lately.
