Network Winxp

Featured Replies

on my network, everything winxp, everything is running fine.

Just on one computer I have a folder to share, I see it in my network places, but Access denied.

on the source computer I selected as user "everyone" "anonymous" "Guest" and "Guests".

But I can use other shared folder.

I think it is because this shared folder is inside the "Program" folder, might that be the reason and is there are workarround?

if the host hdd is not shared in the whole, NO.

copy the folder or files into another folder that you can share and remove the read only.

check the files share system, disable "simple share" and custom it as you wish.

beware the port 135 and 137, 139 ... did you check them already?

thats a strange bug, if I can tell winxp to share that folder but it simply does not do it.......

I'll try to move that files, hope the other software does allow it.

Simple share I can not use because our salesguys files are hosted on this computer (so every salesguy can log in on every computer, but only get his files (the other salesmen orders are 300 % more interesting, than the own or the customer at all :o )).

About the ports 135.... what do you mean?
