anyone used a caxton fx currency card in thailand iam thinking of getting one before i come over in september from the uk

Its just your standard prepaid Mastercard ATM/debit type card

To the OP...make sure to get the Global Traveller card, and not one of the other 2

That way you wont run the risk of being subject to "Dynamic Currency Conversion" when using it in ATMs of some banks.

They are good for holiday cash, but i think Caxton set a maximum balance, as well as a maximum cash withdrawal (£300 a day i think)

But, apart form the above, they are a breeze to top up and use. You get a good rate on them...as good as any i have seen.

I know of a couple who came here on holiday last year and they both had one of these cards. I looked them up on the internet and thet appear to be a very good choice and as mentioned earlier you do seem to get extremely good rates with them.

No paying commision when changing travellers cheques either so win-win i reckon
