Best Mobile Phone Service

Featured Replies

Hello

I currently use dtac 1-2-call which was recommended as the best if i needed to do international calls.

But i hardly ever do those. I don't usually do that much calling however i anticipate making lots of calls for a month or two and wonder whether i should change service or company.

BTW, 2 quick questions:

best place to buy a mobile is pantip plaza, right?

Could you recommend a nice phone that has a camera and useful personal organizer?

Thanks!

No, try MBK and a little outside of bkk, ie: non-farang areas.

Stay with DTAC, if that's what you've got.

I currently use dtac 1-2-call ....

So is it dtac or 1 2 call... ?

totster :o

Just to clarify... DTAC is one provider, 1-2-Call is by AIS, which is a different provider. I would go along with Udon in recommending MBK if you going to purchase in BKK.

I beg to differ.

Non-farang areas are better. Lot's of cheating going on in MBK.

Examples: GF and I both bought the same Nokia 8250, I in MBK, and she asked me why I didn't buy at a reputable dealer like Jay-Mart (she did this). My answer was MBK is cheaper. It turned out my mobile was a second hand one, they sold it as new.

Batteries you get in MBK are second-hand copy-cat batteries (350 :o. I finally bought the original batteries (1000 :D in a real shop - the difference in performance is worth it.

I don't fix my phone in MBK anymore, it will cost 300 or 350 B, works so so, and it will be broken again in 2 months. I fix it at Nokia at World Trade Center, 500 B, really works, will last a year.
