jbob
Hi all, Can someone shed some light as to why my dtac prepaid sim gave me a month of credit validity when I got it and has slowly gone down to 4 days? Very annoying Cheers
sarahsbloke
You have to buy SIM validity time from DTAC (as well as airtime) *113*30# dial Will buy you another 30 days for a 2bht deduction from your airtime Replace the 30 with 60,90,120, etc for longer periods ...... maximum 360 2 bht for every 30 days Actually quite useful, 24bht for 360 days means your SIM will still work next year. I have had a DTAC SIM card for 7 years and I believe I have never bought "validity time." Only air time (pre-paid cards or online top-up through my online bank account). Am I missing something here? Am I paying "validity time" without knowing it??
lopburi3
If you use the card time quickly you will never need to add validity - but for those that just use occasionally it will keep the card valid for a rather small fee.
sarahsbloke
100 bht airtime doesn't give you a month validity .... About 200 bht a month and you never need to buy validity. I believe 50bht topups or less don't give any SIM validity at all. I pretty much only SMS, so a 100bht card from 7/11 gives me 60bht a month for a 100SMS package and leaves 40bht for calls and validity. If on the Simple tariff, any top up card will ensure you have at least a year's validity. So 60 baht would do it...otherwise refer to the first reply. nikster
Whan did you buy it? Has 26 days gone by? It's called the passing of time. It seems to be a universal phenomenon.
