GuestHouse
About two months ago, I spotted a young Thai woman in Pattaya's Central Mall wearing a T-shirt emblazend with 'Thailand Only'. My thought at the time was, 'Seems a curious statement to wear on a T-shirt, I wonder if she's ever been anywere but Thailand?' Since then I've seen perhaps a dozen or so other young Thai women wearing this same message on their T-shirts - No Thai men wearing them. The message doesn't actually make sense, not that anything written on a T-shirt needs to, but it would seem that the wearers like the message. Before I actually ask one of these young ladies what she thinks 'Thailand Only' means, has anyone got any good guesses of their own?
Moonrakers
Once, whilst up country, I saw an old lady who was easily 70 odd. She was wearing one of those spoof coke T-shirts which instead of saying "I like coke", said "I like cock" I wonder if anybody ever told her. Chunky1
Those shirts with a Thai city on a highway sign sure is popular these days.
tigerfish
i may be wrong, but after having talked to some friends and family about the meaning of the t-shirt "thailand only" i think it is in reference to the political situation at the moment. a kind of statment saying that they are neither red or yellow shirt supporters and that they just care only about their country, thailand.
