Bkk Lhr Return Sept-oct

I am looking (somewhat unsuccessfully) for a cheap flight home to the UK, leaving early sept coming back late oct. Any advice on good websites as all the websites ive found so far seem very expensive at atleast 700GBP.

The 600 to 700 pounds range is probably as good as it's going to get out of BKK at the moment. Travel starting in the UK is considerably cheaper than travel starting in Thailand now. If it suits your circumstances, it would make more sense in the longer term to take a one way ticket to UK and then book future flights starting at that end.

I don't know what it is with the airlines these days - flights from the US to Bangkok seem to start at around $1300-$1500 which is very expensive compared to normal.

I just checked with kingfisher and lastminute and all coming in at just under £700.00

It seems to have been roughly 50% more to fly return from BKK than from LHR for several years now. Several threads prior have tried to fathom out why.
