Grated Coconut

Featured Replies

There is a baking supply store, "Schmidt", off Sukhumvit, Prakanong BTS stop, that sells dried coconut, 1 kg bag for 305 baht. http://www.choco-schmidt.com/

On every thai market are children running around. I would not let my kids do that though.

Villa market and Foodland might have it but if you need more farang stuff then better go to the supermarket in Central Chidlom. They have much more then the other supermarkets, especially for farangs. Also they have a great MOS-burger restaurant there, sure the kids will love that.

The dried coconut is not cheap in Thailand, we used a lot of that to make bali-style prawn/fish/coconut skewers, very nice.
