It was wonderful day and beautifull during sun set on Friday 4th Jun 2010, I was bicycling from the ancient city Chiangsaen through the Temple pratatjomkidit past through a lovly trekking road way to both Maechan and Maesai, it was so relaxative when sun is setting down to the rice/corn field with a golden soft sun shine.

Everything goes as usual, suddenly it went dark shortly I was feeling losing my way back to ChiangSaen, I asked young couple who sitting in front of their house to rent a pick up car sending me back to city, they are very helpful to bring me to the head of village's house and waiting their helpness.

when I firstly entered to front yard a young woman coming infront of me and ask me sit down and order her mother cooking dinner for me even I did not say why I am here. Young woman said I know you are hungry and I know what you need but she said anyway after dinner I will send you to the city. I was feeling warmly and friendly. I talk to the old man about 60 years old and a young children 2nd year of primary school. and I finally knew the young woman is the head of village BAN SRIDONMOON 15KM from chiangsaen.

The story is telling me here in Thailand we have peaceful place to stay and travel we have kind and warm people they will give a hand when you fail down. a young head of village mrs. Dai and her child Brook and her husband Labchai gave me a big light when I wan to go home in the dark.

Thank you all everyone there, and I proud of the father of young female head of village Dai, because when I came back I recieved email that my son Nattaphon Sapataphakdee ( Tanyen Shih ) he got the award COLLECTION OF THE YER 2010 at LCF press show this year, I proud of him too

Thank you again the people beside Mekhong River

So there you go Jubby, there are at least two of them. Not as unusual as you thought. :)

Still unusual to me VF. More the merrier though. Especial if they are young, beautiful and Kind. Our pooey Ban is Young, he was pond life in a previous one. ;-)

I was attempting a sardonic response, of course. Given the job description I wouldn't think there are too many women who would even want the job.

Perhaps some know it all can provide the actual statistics for how may Village Head(Persons) are female, male or other? :D

Sardonic, thats not part of my limited Vocabulary. Sort of Sarcastic !?. Not like you at all VF, whats happened to you recently !? :)

I don't know, our headman used to bum around the Village on Lao Khao not so long ago. found himself a relatively wealthy older woman and started on the up. His familys the biggest family in the Village unfortunately because he's pretty useless as far as things go. He does take care of himself though. That Village headman Job must pay well. I suspect we've got him for life unless someone shoots him .
