Ok, I lied. It's not a 'serious post' but I'm getting desperate.

In the UK we had a product that would remove coffee stains, etc, off white kitchen counter tops without taking away the shine by eating into the counter surface.

Is anyone familiar with the equivalent in Bangkok?

Yes you can find it all over Thailand it is called Elbow grease!

(translates as put a bit of bloody effort into it!) :o

Computer shops sell and aerosol that is brilliant for cleaning computers.

Try that.

Vinegar is an excellent cleaner... also has anti germ properties.. :D

Try the vinegar first, it's only 10b a bottle

Then try window cleaner 30 baht

Then computer cleaner as a last resort 50baht

im not sure it will work or not.. my mum use

" kitchen MAGICLEAN " from Kao

(green color solution)

The old standard found just about antwhere is sodium hypochlorite or bleach don't use the one you see with caustic hydrocloric acid and make sure you have some baking soda handy to neutralize as a tooth cleaner also(soda that is) also for bee stings etc...
