Low Season Golf Deals?

OOB

Recommended Posts

All the courses have a Sports Day, even in the high season, and some extend that to all weekday games during low season.

It would be best for you to just call the 3 you want to play and ask them when their Sports Day deals are and arrange to go on those days.

Anyone know of any offers presently?

Looked on the PSC web site, but their price list is from May.  Am looking to play three of the top-end courses (Weds/Thurs/Fri).

Thanks

Siam Country Club - Old Course now has a sports day (I think it's on Tuesdays).

You pay 2250 Baht, cart included (compulsory for non-members).

2,250 ?

that's a deal ?

note to self: continue not to (OVER) pay /play at siam country club

If you knew anything about golf, then you would realize that it is a deal.

Also, if it's a note to yourself, why post that???

As per opening post, I will be there Weds/Thurs/Fri. I have checked the sports days on the PSC web site and most tend to be early in the week.

It seems Plantation though is on Weds and is 2,250 for green fee, cart and caddy (which is a very good deal). So I'm still after options for Thursday and Friday if anyone has any hands-on experience.

Cheers

You're correct in that most sports days are early week. There will not be much of change for sport days during the low season, May through October, so what you read in the May schedule will still be pretty accurate.

Bangpakhong Riverside is a very nice course with a late week sport days, though quite a drive out of Pattaya. Additionally Phoenix, is usually good and they should have Thursday as a sport day.

Otherwise, if you want to play the courses that charge the big bhat, then there isn't much to do at the end of the week other then earlier suggested and call the courses and see what they can offer.

It's not a tourist trap price. The course really is 5 stars.

You say you pay 35 dollars. Does that include a caddy?

^who needs a caddy when you have a compulsory cart?

Phoenix have daily weekday promotions during rainy season although they are not one of the 3 top end courses.

Doesn't matter if you don't need a caddy since they are compulsory.
