Looking For A Woodmill Around Chiang Mai

Hi,

I need to buy a few 2x4's, 2x2's, some very thin but flat pieces of wood (or any other material) at least six feet tall and a few feet wide. I've been told to locate a wood mill. Can anyone give me advice?

Thanks.

Well according to the "What, Where and How" book of Chiang Mai there is a "large store hidden from the road, large variety of cut lumber of many types" at

C.M.Suparak, 145 Mu 2 Mahidon Road, T.Padeat, A.Muang, Tel 275 656, 812 690

South of the city and east of Wat Pa Phrao Nok if thats any help? Never been there and am only going by whats in the book, so maybe a phone call first would be in order.

theres quite a few timber , tool , ironmongery , plumbing , electrical type shops near the south east corner of the moat.

if you look about 150 yards past chiang mai technical college theres a timber yard that sits back off the road on the left ( green arrow )

along the yellow line on sri donchai road there are at least six shops that might have what your looking for on both sides of the road

hope you get sorted ... dave2
