Was just wondering if anyone knows if the world cup opening ceremony is on TV here in Thailand anywhere tonight?

The World Cup opening ceremony is on tomorrow Friday 11th @ 7pm.

You can see it at The Office Bar Sukhumvit Soi 33.

THANKS! I think I get it. the opening ceremony is on at 1am overnight/ then tomorrow a few hours before the first game kicks off there's a big gala kind of opening ceremony-show.

If you go to FIFA.com - Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) on the very first page it has the kick off times.

The first game starts in under 11 hours.

Like me, who was hoping to watch the opening ceremony tonight, really must pay attention.

There are two threads running on this.

Last night's event was a pre-WC concert. Tonight's opening ceremony will be on at 7pm Thai time but probably not on any Thai channels as they would have to interrupt the 8pm programming.
