A friend of mine is visiting from Australia and has a friend who is involved with a bar called 5 Star Bar, but he doesn't know where it is. Anybody know it ?

With a name like that I would say Soi 6. That's about as high on the star rating as you can get on that Soi.

Believe it is in the on the same lot as Nautical Inn, very popular drinking bar, has been for years.

Im sure it's on Soi 16 walking street, it must have 10 TV's all showing different football matches

Again if, this is the bar you mean, I strongly recommend your friend find new friends as this bar is a fleecing bar.

At least two persons have mindlessly lost 10 million to this slippery family.

When your friend returns from his "holiday" in Pattaya can he sit down OK,that is a good indication of any front or backward movements.

You obviously don't know what your talking about, as this is a popular local expat & tourist bar situated right on Beach road next to Mikes (as others have mentioned). Friendly staff and (if she is there) a boss that stops the hawkers coming in and hassling you to buy something. A good afternoon bar and many clubs/groups meet there but certainly no ladyboys!

The Five Star Bar is not a gay bar.

It is actually situated in the grounds of the Nautical Inn on Beach Road, immediately north of the main Mikes Department Store.

A bunch of Aussies guys set up camp there most nights......mainly because the beer is icy cold.
