Just got this in a daily email from Saxo Bank - its news to me but might be old hat ?

Siemens is facing hard competition from Alstom to win $14.6 billion in contracts from Thailand for subways, railroads and highways by 2010. Both companies are bidding for the contracts

Be interesting to know what the plans are ! Any comments too ?
