in 2008, I paid 1413 thb + VAT for a 2MBps connection, last year I upgraded to a 4MBps connection for 999 thb +VAT, today I "upgraded" to 599 thb+ VAT, so 814 thb +VAT cheaper and double the speed

Double the speed eh have you tried using "speedtest" yet??? I wouldnt rely on a single claim made by any provider.

they told me I have to wait 4 days before they can update my account: anyway I did not feel a lot of difference between the 2 and the 5 MBps, but then, I am not a turbo user neither
