Featured Replies

For tourists shopping in Bangkok, I put together a short list of items that might be common purchases to take back home. I will be doing my shopping in a few weeks.

The common locations to buy goods on the street include:

1) JJ Market (Chatuchak)

2) Silom shopping area

3) Pratunam shopping area

4) Sukhumwit near Asok

5) Ramkhamhaeng University area

Here is a short list of things that I have seen, or are interested in getting a street price.

Please update the price and location if you had a purchase recently. Add any items that are interesting for tourist to purchase.

Sounds like you might be unaware of what customs in your home country thinks about bringing in pirated goods?

Indeed ^^^, you may also wish to familiarise yourself with the Thaivisa rules regarding the discussion of illegal activities.
