Ive been coming to Thailand for the past 3-4 years and staying for roughly 9 months at a time. Ive been coming with Tourist visa and making new ones to be able to stay for about 9 months at a time and staying back home at Sweden for 2-3 months. Last time (came back to Sweden last week)I stayed for about 10 months, I had double entry visa and made one more tourist visa in Singapore and last 20 days I went to singapore again but didnt want to make new tourist visa for only 20 days extra so i entered Thailand with visa on arrival.

Now to my question, Ive heard that I have to be outside Thailand for at least 3 months to be able to obtain new tourist visa. I would like to go back in 2 months and stay for another 9 months, is this possible or do I have to wait 3 months to be aligible for new double entry visa? I was thinking to repeat the procedure as in my previous visits to Thailand, double entry tourist visa and after that visa is used then obtain new single entry tourist visa in Singapore or some other country. Is this possible or will I have to wait 3 months, my friend told me that for period of 12 months ill need to be staying outside of Thailand for at least 3 of those months.

I hope I explained my situation so you guys can understand as IM not that good to express my self in english.

Thanks in advance for your help guys.

There are no official limits although individual Consulates in Asia do impose their own restrictions sometimes.

Thanks for a quick reply, I will be applying for a new tourist visa here in Sweden when its time to do so, I was planning to go back sometimes in august. So there shouldnt be a problem for me to get a new double entry visa here in Sweden after beeing here for only a month or two to go back sometimes in august?

Thanks for your help
