ezzra
Hi, I live in a hi-rise condominium building in one of the soi in middle of Sukhuvit Rd. Bkk Right next to us they have started putting up a new hi rise condominium that is way to close to ours, about 10-12 meters apart from one exterior to the opposite one, My query is, according to building code in Thailand, what is the minimum permissible distance between two residential buildings allowed in Bkk? or maybe there isn't any laws governing such blatant disregard to people comfort zone and privacy, not to mentioned a drop in resale value for such property now being blocked by another monstrosity,

trogers
Buildings higher than 23m have to be 6m away from the property line if the facing wall has windows or balconies. So if both buildings are taller than 23m, they would be 12m apart.

MikeyIdea
For new buildings, the minimum is one meter, i.e., one meter from the part sticking out the longest to the border of the land to *where building is allowed*. Doesn't have to be one meter from the actual border (end) of the land. It grows up but don't know at what intervals Addition: Thanks for that. 23 meters it is.
