Will 2 months bank statements be enough for an application?

My statement for the first of 3 months banks statements has overdrawn entries so I want to omit it. It is positive though just, (more coming in than going out). I also sold some golf clubs and deposited this into my bank. This shows as a 'cash credit' on this statement and I am wondering whether the ECO will be suspicious of this. i.e. he may think I have borrowed money to improve the statement.

I suppose I can wait until September to obtain a decent 3rd statement but I am very worried about the cap the tories are putting on immigration numbers. I want to get my wife over ASAP.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They may ask for further bank statements showing a true reflection of your current financial situation.
