PATTAYA: -- At 9pm on Wednesday Night, Police Colonel Ponpipat, Deputy Commander of the Royal Thai Police Inspection Division 7 led a raid on the popular Insomnia Discotheque located on Walking Street. They were joined by officials from the Office of Disease Control and Prevention Region 3 based in Banglamung. The group was inspecting the bar to see if it complied with the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act 2008 which prohibits the advertising of alcoholic beverages. They found foam beer bottle covers advertising alcoholic beverages and also found advertising around the bar

Oh my god,alcohol advertising inside an alcohol selling venue.What has become of this world,bad bad bad.Everybody now has to go to the temple and pray for 1 hour.

The local fuzz sure seem to have a been up their arse when it comes to this club...sheeze...seems like they are raided on an almost weekly basis. I guess the owners [farang?] are a little too successful and some of the local Thai crap-club operators don't like the competition :annoyed:
