China Eastern Airlines

Featured Replies

INFO...

Seems to be a few good deals coming through with China Eastern :D but anyone done them yet??....VIA SHANGHAI :o

Welcome to Asia's fastest growing airline!

China Eastern Airlines began flying direct between London and Shanghai early in 2004.

At present we fly four times a week but there is the possibility of a fifth flight being added early in 2005.

With China's growth at an all time high, Shanghai is modernising rapidly and is widely recognised as China's commercial capital. China Eastern Airlines is one of the top three domestic airlines inside China, and also has flights to a number of other key destinations in Asia and Australia. So whether you're heading to Shanghai itself, onwards into China, or on to other Asian and Australian destinations, flying with China Eastern makes sense.

We pride ourselves on our unique hospitality and affordability.

Please take a look around our UK website and don't hesitate to contact us or our agents to find out more about fantastic offers to Shanghai and beyond.

The Shanghai head office website can be found at www.ce-air.com but due to high demand it is occasionally slow.

If there is at least one good reason to fly into and spend a day or 2 it surely must be the wee train....

Getting to and from Pudong International Airport

Shanghai's new Pudong International Airport is well connected to the city centre.

You can take a taxi from the airport to the centre for about 100 yuan (£8). ...wot

For a fraction of that price, you can take the airport bus to the China Eastern Central Shanghai Office on Yan'an West Road in under one and a half hours. :D better...

Of course, you could also take the new and hi-tech Mag-Lev train (£3 one way, speed - 431km/hr, 7 mins) into Pudong and then take the underground into the city.

Thats more like it... :D £3 quid to travel on a choo choo at...431km and hour.... :D ..wots that in miles?

:o
