wary
I'm 27yr old Canadian looking for a Multiple Entry Visa on a Tourist Visa. I've been on vacation for over a year now and I've been specifically in Thailand for 9 months on and off. When I first came I went to the consulate in my city and got 3 months. Traveled around came back and got a month by going to Cambodia, Laos, and now when I went to the Hong Kong Thai consulate the lady told me that I've been here too long, and now I have to show bank account records. Because of my situation I'm not able to provide that information. When I went to Laos it seemed very automated and no one seemed to really be looking to see how long I've stayed and reject me. Has anyone had this problem and is there a country that's more automated in handing out visa's because traveling to these countries hoping they'll give me a Multiple Entry Visa can be quite daunting and cumbersome. I'm simply looking for a way to stay here at least 3 more months without having to travel to all these other countries to get a new visa. Also I wouldn't really mind going to a further country but only if I can guarantee I wouldn't get rejected as that could be expensive and somewhat worthless. The best option I feel I have so far is to go back to Laos and try to get multiple -reentry. The reason I hadn't got that before is because I didn't think I'd stay here this long but now I'm confident I'll be here another 3 months at least. Mario2008
Vientiane will issue a double entry tourist visa for free without any problems and would be your best bet.
wary
Vientiane will issue a double entry tourist visa for free without any problems and would be your best bet. Thanks for the reply. I was there before and I got a single entry. When I actually put 2 entries on it it was covered up by my photo when they pasted it on :\ I believe it's 2000baht for initial visa then 1000baht for an additional entry up to I believe 4 entries? wary
This was just recent obviously? Cause when I went to Vientiane to get a Visa it cost me 2000baht for a single I believe, and this was 3 months ago. I honestly wish there was a better option as traveling with Air Asia to some other country can literally be cheaper than traveling by train to Laos. Also I've already been there Is there a max on the number of re-entries you can apply for?

wary
I'm in bangkok. fastest cheapest easiest way is Vientiane I think.... but you have to wait like 1 or 2 days for visa and I plan to go Thursday so I'd have to wait over the weekend :\
