Confirming Overseas Income For Marriage Visa.

BTW

With a marriage Cert. Wife's ID, and proof of her address, you can leave and re-enter at a land border, get your 15 day Visa Exemption, then extend this for 60 days at immigration with your marriage cert and wife's ID and proof of address..

A border run every 75 days. One trip to immigration - 1,900 b extension.

Nice and easy.

This is not likely to last more than three cycles per year from reports I have seen however. And some have been told no with less than that.

You have to do a search for that. But I concur with Lopburi. Some immirgation offices are of the opinion you can only get one 60 day extension per year.

Didn't see any. Has he any links to the reports that he's seen?

OOPS .. gee, all these things look alike.

Can it be a mix of Thai income (with tax documents) and foreign income (with Embassy letter)?

Are you paying tax on that foreign income in Thailand? Do not recall any reports on this issue.

The foreign income is an annuity that is taxed at source and not object to taxation in Thailand just like pension income.

None?

Post #20 -- BTW, I'm currently living here on Tourist Visas.

(.. from the TV Motorcycle Forum ) Well at work, I've got my cbr150, and the rest have scooters ... I don't want any confrontations that'll result in me losing face in front of my employers or customers... I left it at that, then left work to find that ...

Not too sure of your point... that I work on TVs?

... Just that you should share your knowledge with the others as to how you manage to have work, an employer, and customers while living here on a Tourist Visa.

Extremely easily. Have you not been in Thailand very long?

But I'm not too sure what it would have to do with the topic though.

I would like to confirm. The 400,000 has to be in an account with only my name? Or can it be in an account with both of our names?

What if it's in a term deposit in my name?

The reason I ask is that we'd like to use the 400K to work for both of us. Either in an account in both of our names where I can use it for extensions & she can use it applying for visas to go overseas. Or, If I put a term deposit in her name, I can then borrow on it, & use the borrowed funds for my account.

It has to be in an account in your name only.

The account has to be of a type where the money is instantly available.

Seems like I've got a stalker.... let me guess, I've pwned you before. Probably many times...

Okay then. B)

A lot of people come to this Forum wanting to know how they can legitimately stay and work in Thailand ... so you post in 2 separate Forums that:

1) You live in Thailand on a Tourist Visa (#20). and you haven't a Work permit (#23)

2) That you have work, a job, an employer, and customers (Post #1). http://www.thaivisa....your-motorbike/

As that flies in the face of nearly every piece of advice offered by the Gang of 6 on this forum, if it is so easy, maybe some Members herein might benefit from your experience.

Several posts removed for flames and mis-information.
