JXXXL
I saw it mentioned in another thread and have been wanting to try it for a while now. I was there to meet a friend recently and the setting looks very romantic. I was just wondering about what type of food they serve, price, service, etc.
WinnieTheKhwai
I thought it was good value when they charged around 1600 baht. At current prices, the issues are the following: * High price. * Small rooms * Very small bathrooms, no bath tub For the money, you'd expect a little more space. However the traditional architecture inspired design is nice, as are the garden grounds. And the location is nice, very central in the old town. If you can get a good deal on it under current economic conditions then it's worth considering.
DavidOxon
The Tamarind restaurant is my wife's choice for her birthday lunch each year. Nice mix of beautifully presented Thai and tasty western foods mid price range. lovely setting by the pool as long as there aren't noisy kids splashing about in there! The wine list however generates a sharp intake of breath! (price wise) Go try, enjoy! David

I'd imagine that a Khwai would find most human bathrooms on the small side David
