Granted a lot of the expat special forces are fake, but I sort of doubt that all these guys keep it a secret until they die. there are a fair number of them and - despite the hype - they are only human, not supermen.

Are ex 264 invited?

or 845? ermm.gif

So who are 845?

One of Stevie Macs little toys?

If you do not know 264, then you were never at HR2 6HY

And if you don't know 845, you were never alive.........

I was there with 264, I never heard of 845 during my time there.

The reason most SAS are in PATtAya is that the letters in the City have a special meaning to a few people.

I think it is a great idea that SAS (Scandinavian Airlines S*) people want to get together. (*If you don't know what the second S stands for, you are not "in" and never were)

Unfortunately, I was never SAS, but did time with British Airways (BA)so would I be welcome as an associate member?

Do you plan on maybe including ex Virgin? - they are sure to be cockpit experienced.

Ask anyone who was on patrol in the southern provinces in the 70's and 80's who they hoped would be on their way in the dark, rain and fog for the extraction. Trust the boys in dark blue (well, olive drab actually) wink.gif

S is for Service. Scandinavian Airline Service.

Question - what was the colour of the boatshed at Hereford?

ph34r.gif

Now what movie was that in???....Its just amazing the amount of x 'special forces' that are retired in Thailand but as soon as its mentioned that their lies dont quite make the true picture they are never to be seen again.....the other thing I like is when someone is introduced to you and the liars always say 'my name is John I am x special forces....I always laugh at that...Its like saying 'my name is John, Im an x road sweeper/shop assistant etc...you just dont do it

haha, great movie; not only for the old master's great acting but it's a classic example of the wannabee tongue.gif

Think it was called " Troll Screws The Pooch" as I remember.

think u forgot to mention the name of the movie was "the wild geese" classic richard burton - hardy kruger

Ronin. DeNiros character (Sam) to Sean Beans character (Spence). The answer? "<deleted> knows"

Now what movie was that in?

Movie was "Ronin" and Robert De Niro was accusing Sean Bean of being a fraud when he said he was ex-SAS. De Niro asked Sean what was the color of the boathouse at Hereford? Sean had no idea and left in disgrace. Later on in the movie someone asked De Niro what really was the color of the boathouse and he admitted he had no clue.

We're all living in Samui these days......you're welcome to visit and I'm sure you'll fit in well. ;)

I know of two who live in Chaweng, both passed through Swanbourne W.A. One prefers ladyboys the other middle aged mothers.

we got SWATs in Pattaya, deal?....still on the Sukhumvit Rd :D

When you SWATs, you wouldnt by chance be referring to the tourist police would you? :D

I reckon if the big guy OP (AKA SAS) were to approach the tourist police for polite conversation they would punch him in the nose and he would run off crying to his mummy

SAS, SWAT, TOURIST POLICE...its a bit hard to tell who are the biggest to$ers:P

SIGGGHHHHHH:rolleyes:
