Visiting Pattaya?

Featured Replies

Thinking of visiting Pattaya? just to give everyone a quick tip, DO NOT use the tap water to brush your teeth,

the wife an myself have just returned after a short break, we got so ill with a viral stomache infection we had to re-book our flight for a day later,

in fairness our hotel did give us 2 bottles of complimentary water, but being used to samui water we never used it,

I would'nt want anyone to go through what we just have.

never use tap water ! ....... they even gave you bottled water to brush your teeth with ! no sympathy ..

I aint looking for sympathy, just would not like for other people like myself who obviously aint as clever as you, to end up in such a state.

are you sure it was the tape water? I traveled extensively everywhere around Thailand since over 2 decades and lived in PTY for 2 years and everywhere I and everyone I met used the tape water for brushing the teeth. Never ever felt sick.

So it could be something else or the tape water from that hotel was poisoned somehow...

are you therefore stating that every tap in pattaya is contaminated???

i lived ther for 1 year and cant recall any teeeth_ water epidemic,

why not simply leave the word pattaya from the title, and simply advise everyone to use bottled water , regardless of your visits to any where.

bit like saying , dont by matches in bangkok , as the matches in bangkok can start fires

Probably crappy food in Pattaya or an overdose of everything which is commonplace...I never had this problem there....but anyway I'll agree with you just to piss off NALAK....:whistling:

Your perfectly correct, it was more than likely the hotel water, and it would have been better as a genral warning, still not feeling my best, so ill blame that

ive been coming to thailand for 10 years now

and i get more illness in the uk

i clean my teeth in the sink but i now best not to

i think the amonut of beer i drink kills the bad stuff

6 years of permanently living in Pattaya, before that a zillion times holidaying in Pattaya... never any problems. of course i wouldn't drink tap water anywhere in Thailand no matter how it was filtered or treated.

What has this to do with the Samui forum?

Besides that I never had a problem in all these years brushing my teeth all over Thailand with tap water.

Yeah, This posting is hog wash. Sorry, mouth wash.

Visiting BKK? Don't put your finger in a live power socket. It happened to me. Never go to BKK again.....

And I have no idea what its doing in the Samui forum.
