We went to the last court appearace of the 4th thief caught of 5 .In the beginning of the day the pumpui pooying (been in jail for a year & a half{with no time served} was going to plead not guilty after the other 3 thieves confessed she was the ring leader & sold the stolen goods. I gave the police the images that she took & the gunman took to see if the camera still worked. It did but they broke the LCD crystal so you could not tell it still worked. They took 14 pictures & a very nice video of the gunman smoking speed & her with some of the stolen gear. They gave the loser a public defender (unheard of in Thailand) because they felt she was un aware that lying to the court with all the evidence would land her 22 years + all the enhancements instead of 11 years+. She at the last minute after hearing both the public defender & the DA tell her she must fess up or face ultimate double dam_n nation. She turned to Alisa(this was before the actual court) that she was sorry & started sobbing-probably when the truth hit that she was going to be in the pokey for another 10+ years or more. more so than being actually sorry. Alisa told her that's nice but now you have to pay for your wrong doings. She thought she could play the I didn't do it you didn't see me do it so therefore I'm right & your wrong scenario. She went from defiant and laughing to I am about to go away for a very long time (on top of the 1 & a half years- no time served)

Pattaya will be glad to know that the ace inspector from the Sattahib office just got promoted to Pattaya. While we will miss a uncorrupt cop here in Bang Sare area-he is superceded by his #2 man which I just as good

And just as good I have seen posts of farangs getting pulled over by the jellyroll cop in Baan Amphur- Na Jomtien area yea that cop. He pulled me over for the second time after he spotted my Kawi & proceeded to write me a ticket for no proof of tax lic. On me disregarding the PAID receipt proving the bin had been paid for the tag 10 days ago & is due in tomorrow. The Sattahib chief called up Na Jomtien & advised them to drop the ticket. Following was the Pattaya office of the courts Judge & district Attorneys’ office Telling then to Iksnay the ticket. I took a snapshot of the cop & he was bummed. Reluctantly the Na Jomtien police dept rescinded the bogus fees & the officer is now under review & has a standing order to avoid pulling us over altogether or face disciplinarian actions. This is the 2nd time getting pulled over by him. Once for no shirt-Dismissed second(same ticket) They couldn’t find a charge so they gave me a dangerous vehicle at 6 kilos an hour. Today they tried to get me to pay the baht Only 200 baht(but I hate getting punked) & this time I told them not acceptable that the judge asked me to submit the photo of the officer & they would settle it out with him. The police chief figured it out & reluctantly killed the bogus ticket. One more time & he gets an equivalent administrative review .

So if the cop reams you & you complain we will be rid of this cockroach for good as he is on shaky paper. Even his own chief stated he has a lot of complaints by both Farang & Thais as well. Glad they let it go cause the snapshot didn't come out.Gotta love lady luck.Except for the kamoie outing.

And in English?

I read it 3x and still can't figure it out..

Is this like three or four stories rolled into one paragraph?

You will need to search back in this forum to maybe the beginning of 2009 to understand what Beardog is posting about, briefly he was sitting at home one night when several robbers burst into his house and attacked him with a frying pan and a fake gun. They stole his telephone and camera amongst other things which they then used to to take pictures of each other with.

The police then traced the phone and the gang got nabbed and went to jail. :lock:

Dunno what the second part is all about though :shock1:

Sorry it was boring for you mallard.....you would have thought it was way more exciting if you were the one robbed.

I've been hit a few times by the Baan Amphur/Na Jomtien cop, but have never paid. I just tell him where I'm going (to work) and he lets me go. I make sure to stay in the left lane on the way into Baan Amphur.
