webfact Posted July 23, 2010 Share Posted July 23, 2010 Pilipino Tourist caught up in Jomtien Beach necklace snatch PATTAYA: -- Police Colonel Nantawoot, the Pattaya Police Chief was joined by other officers and Police Volunteers as they attempted to catch a suspected necklace thief who had, moments earlier, snatched a gold necklace from around the neck of a Pilipino Tourist. On Thursday afternoon, reports came in of the theft which occurred on Jomtien Beach Road. A description of the suspect was circulated amongst officers who gave chase to the suspect and eventually caught up with him on the Central Pattaya Road, in front of the Bank of Ayudhya. He was in possession of the necklace which he discarded during the chase.
