Yeap, blocked by ICT, or at least when I've tried to reach it over the last few days on my TOT internet plan.

Yes it is blocked.

Tried TRUE ADSL in BKK and CsLoxinfo dial-up and PacNet dial-up, all redirect to the blocked message.

Strange thing since it has nothing to do with Thailand. Has the US requested the block????

Hard telling as I don't know if it was blocked "before" the recent posting of classified documents generating the current worldwide news story/buzz.

I am writing from England. I was into the website last night reading the Afghan report. There is a section on Thailand which has a video about the Prince which appeared to have been blocked even from the UK.

Could this be the reason that the whole website has been blocked in Thailand?

Yes it is the reason, it has a few stories about Thailand as well as the one mentioned, it was available the morning the afghan report came out then it was blocked later that day.

Interesting to note: The Wikileaks site wasn't blocked in the Golden Land until the last couple of days with this US-Afghanistan broohaha. The items that might be considered, and that are listed there within, offensive to such authorities are mild in comparison to what can be found elsewhere. The Wikileaks Thailand category are less royalty oriented and more politically designed. As to the sensation and fashion that is Wikileaks - I personally find such amateurish sites to be nothing but high-end gossip circles, without substance. Any and every type of conspiratorial, secret, hidden, covered-up stimulation that one wanted to absorb can be found {with a little work and research} most anywhere these days. This includes the current US documents pertaining to it's embarrassing plight in Afghanistan.....personally, I've known about such punditry and info for a time know. All of a sudden, it's a story because it has been posted on some reveling gossip sheet - all this govt/military info has been circulating around the 'interwebs' for a time now.

Wikileaks is blocked by your friendly MICTurition people, since Wikileaks released said MICT Internet censorship list, and also published a video with a princess apparently cavorting naked at a dog's birthday party. yay!

America appears humiliatingly unable to keep its own or other people’s secrets. A good example of this is a cable about a firm supposedly involved in breaking arms sanctions on Iran. Marked “secret” and for American eyes only, it contains some spicy details gained from a “well-connected businessman”. To establish that source’s credentials, the cable’s author lists his family connections (Iran), his place of business (Baku), his education (British), and his distinctive sporting career. The name is not given, but could easily be deduced. Next time he is asked to share his expert insights on a matter of huge importance to America’s government, he may be less helpful.

Not sure why Wikileaks seems to only target the USA. I suppose we are the only nation with something to hide. I suspect the owner of Wikileaks will some day end up as a classified document one day.
