I dont know if anyone can help but I need some information.

My Thai girlfriend was educated at a Christian charity school in Chiang Mai - I would like to sponser a child at the same school but she cannot give me a name in English to look for.

So - I am looking for information about a boarding school/charity in the nong hoi area of chiang mai - i think its on the Lamphun road area somewhere near the temples of Wat Nueang Sat Luang and Wat Mueang Sat Noi.

What is the name of the school in Thai? Some of the forum regulars can read Thai.

OR, better yet, why not just have your gf take you there - on motorbike, tuk tuk or car. Do you think she can remember where it is???

Thanks to everyone for response ...The school is/was not a big school like Grace but maybe they can help me as you suggest.

We are living in the UK so going there is not an immediate option but is possible sometime in the future if all else fails.

I have done extensive searches on the internet but no luck.

I'm guessing all schools need to register with the Department of Education, so they'd have a list. You might try their website, if they have one. It will probably be in Thai. If no list, you might find a contact address you can write to (in Thai—your gf can do it) and ask. Officials tend to respond to snailmail letters but often ignore emails.
