It is doubtful that the case has any true validity. imho, any intelligent person would know it is practically impossible to read and use notebook under direct sunlight.

The law suit is like claiming that because General Motor does not implicitly and explicitly explain that its cars can not be driven under water....etc

Therefore GM is responsible.... so on and so forth.

Interesting read. I never had a problem with my iPad in Thailand so I guess it's about direct exposure to sun.

Maybe not an issue here though - the only people who roast in the sun in Thailand are sun-starved tourists from Europe. Everyone else stays in the shade.
