Pestcontrol

Featured Replies

Last year I hired a pestcontrol company. I had to pay a year in advance and of course never saw them again after 3 months. There phone was disconnected. I found a new one, www.globaltreat2009.com. 12000 for a year. Of course i asked them if it is possible to pay every 3 months but them don't except. 7000 now and 5000 after 3 months. Anyone know this company?

It is important now to spray because we haven't seen the city counsel spraying the streets for months and I had dengue recently so reinfection can be worse.

Thanks for help.

I'm already for years with Chiang Mai pest control. I always pay in full for a year in advance. Their yearly price is by far not 12,000 baht a year, but maybe they have different prices for their different services.

Their tel. nr. is: 053 278 743

Nowhere near 12K bt pa- pest control do for 2K per 3 months if you insist\request... otherwise they not have the business. As was quoted by another Mob that close to that price who wanted the year in advance, approx 8K bt. Never trust people enough to pay all the money in advance.

If I am to take a chance on them coming back i need to know it is still worth their while-----I learnt this the hard way in Thailand especially- yet it happens all over the world.

Sounds like farang pricing to me...

Thank for the info. I did ask for a quotation from the one you mentioned and they ask 12000 too. my plot is 800qm maybe your plot is smaller?

I've got a brochure sitting here from a company called Unipest www.unipest.co.th . Anyone ever use them or know much about them?

I think it was 3000 Bt for Chiang Mai Pest for termite spraying for the year. If you want mozzies covered might be different.

Their worker brings a card with him for you to sign when he comes every month.

If a month is missed (worker doesn't turn up - it happened once) they add on another month at the end of your contract.

Been using them for the past couple of years or so, and found them very reliable and effective.

I've called CM Pest Control and they quoted 5,000 baht for a year contract for mosquito spraying, once a month.

You need to ask for Khun Uthai.

I wonder if they deal with annoying neighbors and pesky girlfriend relatives that are always crawling out the woodwork with their hands out for money.

A fee of 5000 baht a year would be a bargain.

That could be the big difference in price. At my place i asked for the whole package. Thanks for the reply. Doei

But remember if you miss a payment you get triple your pests back.

Paying for a year inadvance here gives me creeps.

I'll ask around my muu baan to see how they do things here. Will let you know.
