Is Tsm Only For Garmin Gps?

Featured Replies

Current promotion in Makro offers Tele System-Italy GPS for 5,990THB with reasonable spec.-

Screen: 5" TFT LCD with junction view

CPU : SiRFAtlas-IV Dual-core

O/S : Window CE 6.0

Navigation Software: IGO Primo (no idea about the quality of this software actually)

Origin: China

They offer IGO Primo navigation software (heard first time this name......I doubt if it's really of any worth??)

So When I contacted their call center (horrible communication in English), they informed me that this GPS device

is compatible with any other navigation software like TSM, SpeedNavi etc.

Is it really possible to install TSM in GPS devices other than Garmin as I thought TSM is exclusively for Garmin?

Even if it's possible, does it effects the effectiveness of TSM?

regards

They must've been referring to a hacked version of Garmin Mobile XT (GMXT) which can run in a WinCE device. The TSM map offered might be an illegit copy as well. I have some experience using GMXT in a China made GPS WinCE unit, and after a while decided to sell off and got a real Garmin (Nuvi) instead.
