Trump has decided that the US will win the WC

As many US and foreign medias report, chairman Orange has ordered to the (Swiss) guy living in Qatar since the WC 2022, to change the ruling for a US player.

This years WC was already ridiculous for the climate, but has now reach new lows.

The FIFA was already before ridiculous and corrupt, Sepp Blatter started with that and Infantino is perfectionising it.

FIFA generates billions in profits from World Cups. Over the course of the four-year cycle centered on the men's World Cup, the association projects revenues of around 13 billion US dollars. FIFA's actual net profit amounts to several billion US dollars. The majority of this revenue (over 4 billion) is generated through broadcasting rights, followed by sponsorship deals and ticket sales.

Yes, FIFA pays taxes, but it benefits significantly from its status as an association. Because it is registered in Switzerland (in Zurich), it pays a reduced tax rate of around four percent on its profits there. Furthermore, for tournaments such as the World Cup, it often secures contractual tax exemptions.

When the article said, "men's world cup", I looked up "women's world cup" hoping they'd be wearing beach volleyball uniforms. See, I don't really care much about football...

As a English player received a red card today, I am requesting that King Charles calls Trump's puppet and orders him to cancel the red card.

We must not forget that King Charles is the King of a Kingdom, and not just like GI on the receiving end of a tiny president of a former colony .

Is GI still Swiss, or Qatar citizen? He is enjoying a private plane from Qatar to fly around to watch matches and worsening the climate impact of this WC in 3 countries.

Seriously, he should. Somehow, England has no other right back options? And don’t say Declan Rice

Giovanni "Gianni" Vincenzo Infantino is a Swiss-Italian-Lebanese football administrator and the president of FIFA since 2016. He has also been an International Olympic Committee (IOC) member since 2020.

As president of FIFA, he oversaw the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, for which he accepted the Order of Friendship medal given to him by Vladimir Putin. He oversaw the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar during which time he defended or minimised controversies surrounding Qatar's human rights record.

It's an utter disgrace and is growing legs. Infantino will have to go. FIFA is corrupt to the core.

What with this and the visa issues the USA must never ever be given such a tournament again. And let's hope they get absolutely battered by Belgium tonight.

The 2022 WC was already bad enough, but having Chairman Orange confirming that it was not a foul because he is a expert, confirms only that this is the worst WC ever.

Many a true word is spoken in jest ..

Years ago the FIFA meeting turned to why women's

football was not popular and Blatter said "perhaps they

should wear short skirts like the ladies hockey teams !

If they (the USA) don't win it will be because the opposing team cheated, it will be a fraud, the US will have been "taken advantage of", well, we all know the form!

They will have to sober up Pirro again, to indict some poor unfortunate who was in the wrong place at the wrong time...

Come on Belgium!

He makes leaders of banana republics look ethical.

If the USA National Team coach had balls and yeah they'd need to be very big ones he would opt to not play the red carded player and openly say he wants to win but he doesn't want to win because of the corrupt action of his corrupt president.

The game will start soon but this smelly turd of a "president" has robbed me and all USA national team supporters of a pure sporting experience. The way he behaves would have even been too much for his infamous mentor Roy Cohn.

He disgusts me.

I have always found soccer to be the absolute most boring sport, sort of a joke the rest of the world is playing on the US. I never thought I could dislike the tedious sport more.

Along comes Trump saying, "Hold my cheeseburger".

Belgium appealed but was rejected so Folarin Balogun was allowed to play.

Current score 1-0 Belgium.

Tedious. Hmmm.

Out of a 60-minute official American football game and a broadcast that typically lasts over three hours, only about 11 to 20 minutes of actual, live gameplay occurs in an average American football game.

In a standard 90-minute soccer match, the ball is in play for an average of 50 to 60 minutes.

More action per game! 😁

Belgium now 2-1 up!

Bye bye USA.

To paraphrase Bill Clinton, It depends on what the meaning of 'action' is.

I know comments like mine are taken less easily than a member of a certain faith takes the work of a Danish cartoonist, but this guy kicking over there, then that guy kicking back here, then the other team intercepting a kick, then it goes out of bounds, then some guy throws it back in, then somebody heads it sideways, then a guy kicks it way down there, then the goalie picks it up and kicks it way back the other way, does not seem particularly exciting to me. I know others swear by that futility.

As Bill Maher recently said, there's more scoring at Bible Camp.

At this WC, in order for companies to pay for broadcast rights, they've introduced the "hydration break". Frankly, I actually think they break because they have to send mowers out to cut the grass, as it's grown too tall since the last time something of value actually happened.

I know soccer is the most popular sport in the world by far. I just never understood why. As a youth and through university, I was playing US Football in autumn (aka football), basketball in winter, and both baseball and track in spring. I guess I just never found time to appreciate the Beautiful Bore.

To each his own.

Anyway, Trump has made even that a fraud. Rick Wilson had it right.

Absolutely anything that has the grifter near it will be tarnished forever,it is just the way the scumbag is.

And you know full well if the US loses, Folarin Balogun will be deported before the sun comes up tomorrow.

Just like Trump, FIFA is a black hole of corruption without one iota of morality.

1:4 for Belgium... Good job boys!

A well deserved victory for Belgium despite Trump's machinations.

Wonder if he'll bother still turning up for the final, hoping to hand the cup over to the winners.

Could get booed by fans of both teams in the final, along with Infantino.
