Just returned from a most enjoyable 2 month stay in buriram. finding out where I could get everything that I needed food/booze was a challenge. also communicating with the locals was fun. I have to say a big thank you to a great guy called Ray who is the proprioter of Coffee Corner in Prackon Chai. I recomend if you are ever there drop in to coffee corner the food and hospitality is tip top.

I also like to drop in at the Coffee Corner when I am around. I think it is a clean well run place. There is a nice farang menu as well as thai food. Ray is a friendly individual who is knowledgeable about the area and always ready to point you in the right direction. I would also like to nominate the rest room to be one of the best in Issan. I challenge anyone to find a better one.

Cheers :jap:

Agreed, Ray is a good bloke and with his wife has a very nicely laid out Coffee Shop/Restaurant. They get quite a crowd for their Friday night gatherings. The rest room is a bit of a private joke as we all say its the plushest in Isaan.

And a roof, always an advantage in rainy season';)

Note to self - it is amazing how noisy a tin roof can be in the rainy season, research noise abatement.

Note to self..... sit under Ray to cushion noise.

(sorry mate, you know i love you)

A more precise location, other than Prakon Chai, would be helpful. Thanks

Corner of Buriram Road (219) and Maharaj Road (which is the left turn to the bus station).

If coming from the traffic lights on the 24, head North on the 219 to Buriram (219) for about 500 metres.

If you have ever seen us stood next to each other, you will know how easy that would be.

Even though it's the rainy season, Coffee Corner has some well priced "Summer Specials" B)

Apparently Rays Spotty Dick is a sight for sore eyes!

TBWG :wai:

Now we are getting personal - that was our secret David :whistling:

(Good idea for the menu though - we already have the custard)
