Likes to keep work and private life strictly separate, far more than most stars here. Something about her that's very special and a great singer, I prefer her singing morlam, but that's not as popular as luktung. bannork Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 She's a wonderful singer Jacky, and her third album, sadly unavailable anywhere now, is entirely morlam sing, with a wonderful organ player hurtling up and down the keyboards as she sings into the stratosphere with that powerful voice. It's a fantastic album which I bought about 25 years ago on cassette, but after signing to Grammy everything became more middle of the road with the extremely dull owner Paiboon. I've been in Thailand since the late 80s and Jintala, Siripon, Duanpen, amongst others,were touring before then and still are. She did about 20 albums for GMM Grammy then went onto master Tape. They were meant to have gone bust in 2007 when she moved to R Siam, but recently they have uploaded loads of her stuff and Nok pornpanas onto you tube, good audio quality. Her n 12 for GMM is good that's various styles of Morlam. Not seen Dernpen all that often but Siriporn a lot, sadly none of them have their tour bands any more. This is Jin from album 2 1988 warn puean kean jot mai, never hear another singer do this, except one in her dressing room once.
