Something our 2 week millionaire sponsors should think about before heading off to WU to send the next stipend.

Little Lek has it sussed, hapless farang hasnt yet caught onto this philosopy.

Listening to his introduction I guess this is before the World Trade attacks

Dear viewer, please bare with me, I am on a Neil roll, another classic.

rgs, I refuse to bare with you as I strongly suspect with a name like rgs you are not of the feminine gender. btw that number's Stephen Stills really rgs.

Here's Neil making the ladies of all ages smile in Glasgow

Oh bliss, nice solo at the end, and the effervescent NM (what a babe), what is there not to like about this song?

Still inspired by PCs (REM) thread where this song was posted, this version is heaps better IMHO.

It must be the violin, the rhythm or something but The Waterboys' track above reminded me of Dylan's Desire album, sadly unavailable on youtube, as is the original Emmylou version of the below. Never mind, may all TV music fans defy the lyrics of the song below.

The idiot shouldn't have got into hard drugs, they had the talent to go beyond the moon.

Sao seang phin, (Jintara Poonlarp) must be one of the most well off singers here, does nothing but work for the past 27 years, up to three concerts a night. Likes to keep work and private life strictly separate, far more than most stars here. Something about her that's very special and a great singer, I prefer her singing morlam, but that's not as popular as luktung. From her latest album:

She's a wonderful singer Jacky, and her third album, sadly unavailable anywhere now, is entirely morlam sing, with a wonderful organ player hurtling up and down the keyboards as she sings into the stratosphere with that powerful voice. It's a fantastic album which I bought about 25 years ago on cassette, but after signing to Grammy everything became more middle of the road with the extremely dull owner Paiboon.

I've been in Thailand since the late 80s and Jintala, Siripon, Duanpen, amongst others, were touring before then and still are. God bless them

You once said one should never marry a girl from Surin, but this lot certainly gave their money's worth.

I have all her albums except the first two and a couple of others, I think I have n 3, yeah just looked it's never been opened like a lot of her early work I have. She did about 20 albums for GMM Grammy then went onto master Tape. They were meant to have gone bust in 2007 when she moved to R Siam, but recently they have uploaded loads of her stuff and Nok pornpanas onto you tube, good audio quality. Her n 12 for GMM is good that's various styles of Morlam. Not seen Dernpen all that often but Siriporn a lot, sadly none of them have their tour bands any more.

This is Jin from album 2 1988 warn puean kean jot mai, never hear another singer do this, except one in her dressing room once. Only hear Jin sing it once and then she forgot the words, hauntingly lovely. yeah you have to watch them Surin girls

I just noticed this upload is from master tape, but she was not with them then, I don't think they even existed in 1988, there was some connection between Grammy and Master tape, but forgot what it was now

23 Skidoo - Porno Bass

You certainly know how to make pleasant memories come flooding back.

Here are a couple of my old favourites.

Apt title.

Slap bass.

A walk on the weird side.

It's not ab-abnormal at all.

Staying on the weird side.

There's 70 billion people of Earth, (where are they hiding?).

Another belter comes blasting out the speakers.

Love the comments some wag posted, made me laugh about the comments and banter between our Morlam posters about a girl from Surin.

"I had a girlfriend... she got pissed at me because I didn't want to take her our and buy her a new pair of shoes and dinner and she didn't like that I told her she'd be able to get those herself if she had a job. I had this playing on the radio and she complained about the music and called me stupid. I left her at a gas station outside of her home state somewhere on the to a "vegas" trip. This song always makes me so happy now because she was a controling vicious bitch. Nice ass though."

Its obvious the poster never spent time here, dinner and a pair of shoes, he was getting off lightly.

Wow, that was like a breath of fresh air, wonderful.

They dont make them like that anymore, hang on a minute, whats this, maybe they do.

"He ended up blowing all his wages for the week for a cuddle and a peck on the cheek- one of the best lines ever!'

Its the girl from the north country gain LOL.
