Adsl Triple B

Featured Replies

The central area of Soi Bouakao/Diana Estate has had almost daily outages of up to 3 days at a time for 3 months now. Many, but not all accounts are affected. Complaints have no effect. Many accounts have already been canceled and switched to TOT.. Be careful, with Triple B you sign up for 1 year, if you try to cancel early, even due to their non-performance, they will charge you for the full year or refuse to cancel your account.

Maybe a localised problem. I have BBB in the Huay Yai area and it's good. Not had an outage yet, and the 5 megabits claimed comes out at 4.95 on a speed test.

refuse to cancel your account

Refuse to make payment ??

Ditto! Very happy with it.

They have so many cases complaining, they now give discounts for days offline, but only if not prepaid. Technicians showing up say, Central Pattaya not ready for too many customers, we must upgrade, sorry. Anyway, the ones who have switched to TOT or CAT lately, have internet running, while Triple B accounts in D.E. have been off once more since last night 7pm!

It's all these dodgy foreign 'tourists' doing 'internet-based business' that's eating up all the bandwidth. What other country do you get to hang out 'at work', shorts and flip-flops, drinking beer and chasing the ladies, maybe getting a 'nice' girl living in? Don't even need a work permit... fantastic!

Thanks to the OP, we now know where most of them live.

There was an article in the ....... a few weeks back saying that, after the Post Office in Bangkok, the Pattaya Post Office is the most profitable in the country, due to all the dodgy farangs trying to earn beer money by selling stuff on eBay and other sites. I don't know if they meant the main branch (would that be the new one on Sukhumvit?) or if they included all the sub-branches in that calculation, but I thought it was an interesting factoid.
