Hi, I live in Pattaya and i have been here for 1.5 years, started on a 1 year multi-entry marriage visa then i did a double entry tourist visa thru cambodia as a i was

very sick with a thyroid condition and flying to KL malaysia didnt appeal to me at the time.

I need another visa in 5 weeks and I am sick and tired of visa runs etc and want to go to Jomtien Immigration and just get the one year visa w 400k in the bank.

I have been married to a Thai for 13 years and we have 2 children.

The question i have is where I live i spend about 80% of my time living with my mia noi (wife says ok, they actually became good friends) and 20% with my wife. All the neighbors know them both well and their postion (mia luan and mia noi). I am worried

what will happen when the police come to check my neighbors to see if its a fake marriage. Will this be a problem?

Thanks for any advice

Indeed it could be a problem as you are reporting yourself a living at wife location and it appears that is not the case most of the time and thus your marriage does not appear to be for anything but obtaining visa/entry.

Will it be picked up on is open to question.

Should not be a problem.

I live here for 21 years and had never a police check in all those years.

But i don't say it is impossible that they check off-course.

A check is normally only made at the first extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national. It can be that they visit your house or that they interview the neighbors.
