I have been in Thailand now for over a year, and about six months on a NON B visa (with no work permit).

When I go back to Aus over christmas will I have to pay any tax at the airport other than the dtandard departure tax. (I've been getting conflicting stories)

thanks for your help

NO!

As long as your visa still valid (means you did not overstay) nobody will ask for tax-payment. Passenger service charge is Baht 500 incl. VAT.

The conflicting stories probably come from old times, when one needed a tax-clearance certificate. This is still mentioned under point 6 of the TM-card, however, has been abolished years ago.
