Tourist Visa To China Question

Featured Replies

I would prefer to send one of my assistant to take care of this for me.

Does an American have to go to the consulate in person in Bangkok to apply for and receive the visa? Anyone with experience in this area?

I have all the other info, documents and requirements, from the website, but they do not mention this point.

Thanks to all in advance...

Tom

no, you do not need to apply in person ,

i normally obtain mine , via an agency .

i would suggest you have a visa before you visit china .

American's do not need a visa to visit. Check the visa on arrival information. http://en.wikipedia....public_of_China

This is for Taiwan; Americans do need a Visa for China.

Confirm that you do not need to apply in person; and that, as an American, you do require a visa to visit mainland China.
