Cable Vs Satellite Tv Services.?

Featured Replies

What are the best TV services options in Bangkok? Cable or Satellite? I would like to be able to watch two different programs in different rooms at the same time, Thai Channel in one room and English in the other. I need service in four different rooms at the same time. I would ultimately like to get Current Movies in English along with English News. The Local Thai channels are also a must. Don’t need the all the sports channels.

Thank for any input, ideas, links and cost.

Local cable for the Thai channels and satellite for the English.

There are several recent posts on satellite TV options.

Based on your English and Thai programming desires along with multiple receivers, TrueVisions is probably your best bet. TrueVisions is pretty much the 800 pound guerrilla in Thailand for paid satellite/cable TV.

You can also go with Free-To-Air satellite (no monthly subscription cost) if allowed to mount a FTA-type dish on your residence (usually you are talking a large black C-band dish for the most programming)...you won't get much English language programming on FTA but you will get a lot of Thai, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia programming.
