TheWalkingMan
Here is a snippet from the article... Under interrogation, Mr Hoen’s Thai wife Mrs. Phimjai Soiphim [28], explained that her and her husband had been drinking alcohol together with a third man at their room for most of the evening. Mrs. Soiphim explained that she and her husband had met their new friend earlier in the day, stating that she did not even know his name or nationality. So they met some guy during the day and then invited him home? I will never understand some people. TheWalkingMan

Popular Post asiawatcher
Another fine example of Pattaya people, well mannered and well behaved LOL If they are not in Pattaya they seem to be in Phuket. But then I can't read Thai and seeing the pics in the Thai papers, seems nothing is new - just that Thai's outnumber Farangs by about 100,000 to 1 so the Farang make the news. There are plenty of drunken incidents daily with fatal attacks like this by Thai's but many don't rate the space. Interesting.
Gimbo
Stabbing each other while drunk out of your mind is an old norwegian tradition. I don't see what all the hoobla is about. geriatrickid
Considering the room's decor, perhaps one of them took offense? Or maybe it was a discussion over whether or not Norway should stop funding Hamas and supporting the slaughter of endangered whales? cup-O-coffee
Here is an example of more vague and ambiguous trash journalism, from a desperado who could very well have a stained, plastic Pulitzer mounted in front of his or her loo as a means for one-handed journalistic inspiration. Gardez l'eau! Once I discovered that the participants were mentally impaired by a foreign substance of dubious reputation, this became a non-story. Incidentally, being Pattaya, it should not be any great matter for wonder that people invite strangers home (male or female) after meeting them during the day; or night for that matter. ratcatcher
13 replies, all of which are smart-ass remarks... Typical... Well what do you expect? Pattaya, exciting coastal resort, a Thai woman and her Norwegian husband invite a man they met that day back to their apartment where they enjoy a few drinks. The woman asks the man if he'd like a sandwich, and it wasn't going to be smoked salmon on rye. The husband takes offense and a fight breaks out. The Norwegian is stabbed, luckily not fatally. In Sin City there are a million stories, this has been one of them.

It's like fighting over snow in Antarctica.
